3 c. whole wheat flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. baking soda, 3 tbsp. honey, 3 eggs, 2 c. whole milk, or unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 c. coconut oil, melted
We know that the healthier choice is never as good as the real thing but these while wheat pancakes are pretty close! we know they are going to still taste sweet from the honey and they will still be fluffy form the almond milk and we also know that they are still going to be moist from the coconut oil. So why shouldn't you try them? They sound amazing.. and are good for you!
Whole wheat flour is an excellent substitute for normal white flour because you still get that flour feel but with more nutrition. Honey is a way more smarter choice of sweetener than sugar and vanilla because hone is natural and has natural sugars which are better that processed sugars form a factory and also it tastes amazing! and unsweetened almond milk is a better choice than cows milk just because almond milk has way less fat and tastes delicious! We all know butter is better for you thank margarine but do we know that coconut oil is better than butter? it still gives that oil that butter has but with way less calories and in baking you don't even notice!
But what if you have an allergy to gluten? no problem! just swap out whole wheat four for gluten free four and BOOM! gluten free healthy pancakes!
